Whether you are buying a home, worried about a storm or just wondering how much life your roof has left, a good inspection is the place to start. Ours is a free inspection, and a thorough one. We climb the roof when it is safe to do so and work across every slope, looking for worn, cracked, lifted or hail-marked shingles, exposed nail heads and loose ridge caps. We check the flashing at walls and valleys, the pipe boots and every vent, and we look at the gutters for granule buildup and sagging. Then we head into the attic, where daylight through the decking, dark stains, damp insulation or heavy heat tell you things the outside never will. Each finding is photographed and labeled. Before we leave, we sit down with you and go through the photos one by one, separating the items that need attention soon from the ones that can wait. If the roof is in good shape, we tell you that too. There is no pressure attached, just an honest record you can keep.
